3 Quick Tips for Toenail Fungus Home Remedies
Posted by: | CommentsEach and every day there are literally thousands of people who are searching for tips on getting rid of nail fungus by using safer toenail fungus home remedies.
The problem with most home remedies is that the products used were never designed for toe nail fungus. In addition, there is little proof that these remedies are working on bonafide cases of fungus.
However, these 3 picks are popular toenail fungus home remedies.
2. Listerine
Those who suffer from toenail fungus often recommend Listerine as a means of getting rid of the problem without using other products, prescription or not. They generally recommend soaking in a mixture of 50% Listerine and 50% water from 15 to 30 minutes. However, do warn against using blue Listerine, since it can stain the skin. It is the ingredient, Thymol that contains particular antifungal properties.
2. Vicks Vaporub
During the cold winter, many homes in America use Vicks for relief during the flu season, for its healing properties of menthol. Thymol is also included in Vicks and is thought to help eliminate toenail fungus. However, this product does cause a moisturizing effect, which may cause the continual growth of fungus.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar is another product that may be helpful; however, many do agree that you can use other types of vinegar. The theory goes that vinegar is acetic acid and does not promote a productive environment for fungus growth. The mixture is that of one part water and one part vinegar soak for 15 to 30 minutes.
These are the most commonly recommended toenail fungus home remedies, of all the others that you can find online. Note, however, that none of these product designs includes killing toenail fungus; you will have to decide for yourself if they work for you.

The doctor said there is a medication for it but that it costs $1000.00 dollars and only a 50 percent chance it will cure it. I heard that vicks vapor rub and tea tree oil work, but so far, no luck. Any home remedies you can give would be much appreciated.
